Near-Death of a Buick stationwagon

Betsy had a brush with death but managed to make it through, not before I started the eulogy though, so here goes...

Near-Death of a Buick stationwagon

Top 10 Reasons to Embrace the Wood Paneling…

1) The hip and happenin vibes, obviously

2) The Magic School Bus-esque charm: capable of seating 9+ with ease

3) The clock starts over at 12:00 every time I turn on the car, so I always know exactly how long my travels take me (even if I never know what time it is or whether I’m early or late—really must start wearing a watch)

4) Also born in the 90s…Justin Bieber and Dakota Fanning

5) Who would ever dare pull over a car that looks like it must be owned by someone pushing 80 years of age—though the Classic Car Club of America won’t officially acknowledge its oldness for another five years

6) It’s a great conversation starter, usually goes something like this: So, your car…….? What’s with that?

7) The pleasantly temperamental windows, which willfully refuse to go up or down with any sort of regularity—this also goes really well when it rains

8) Its storage unit size: No, really, it is legitimately larger than an average storage unit, capable of storing a not-so-mini fridge, microwave, 4+ suitcases, a baby pool, a cooler, basically the entire contents of a dorm room

9) Its streamline maneuverability and bull nosed disposition

10) 164,000 miles baby!!
